More details

The Yacht-Master has always occupied a slightly different space within the Rolex range, and that’s part of its appeal. It doesn’t lean fully into the traditional tool-watch category, and it doesn’t try to. The Yacht-Master 40, particularly with the rhodium dial, is one of the most balanced modern Rolex sports watches.

A detail that often goes unnoticed is the case profile. The Yacht-Master I shares its case shape with the Daytona, which gives it a slimmer, more refined feel on the wrist than models like the Submariner or GMT-Master II. It sits lower, wears flatter, and feels noticeably more elegant as a result.

This example dates to 2023 and remains under Rolex warranty. Condition is excellent, presenting very close to new. The rhodium dial has a soft, silvery tone that shifts subtly with the light, while the platinum bezel adds contrast without ever feeling loud.

It’s a watch that feels completely natural around water, by a pool, or on a boat, but it also works effortlessly with a smart outfit in the evening. That versatility is what makes the Yacht-Master such a strong choice. Refined, comfortable, and quietly confident on the wrist.

A really lovely example of a reference that rewards time spent wearing it rather than simply looking at it.

Condition

We’d describe this Yacht-Master as Excellent on the Calibre Club scale.
The case and bracelet show minimal signs of wear, the dial is flawless, and the watch retains a near-new presence throughout.
