A classic reference from the golden era of tool watches, the Submariner 16800 blends vintage charm with modern practicality. Featuring a matte tritium dial, aluminium bezel insert, and sapphire crystal, it marks the shift from early Submariners to the more robust designs that followed.

This example from 1984 (serial 832XXXX) retains strong case lines and a well-aged dial with warm patina. The aluminium bezel insert shows even ageing and the Oyster bracelet remains secure. The clasp is tight, as is common on older models, but fully functional. The watch has not been polished during our possession — a light polish can be arranged if preferred, though not recommended.
