Rolex — Oyster Anchor Accessory — 4000ft / 1220m — Late 1990s / Early 2000s — Collectible

If you were buying Rolex dive watches in the 1990s, you’ll remember these.

This is the classic 4000ft / 1220m Rolex anchor — the version most commonly associated with the late-90s Sea-Dweller era, when Rolex still included these slightly eccentric extras within their professional dive presentations.

They were never tools. Just a symbolic nod to the depth rating — very Rolex in the way it reinforced the engineering story with a small, engraved metal anchor featuring the coronet and “ROLEX OYSTER” along the shank.

Over the years, most were separated from their original sets or simply lost. Today, they’ve become one of those details collectors quietly look for — whether completing a period-correct set or simply appreciating the small touches that defined the era.

An original Rolex factory champagne dial for the 36mm Day-Date, correct for references using the Calibre 3055 single quickset movement (18038).

Finished in the classic sunburst champagne tone with applied yellow gold baton hour markers and Roman minute track, this dial represents one of the most iconic configurations in Day-Date history. The warmth of the champagne finish and the sharpness of the text give it that unmistakable Rolex character of the late 1970s and ’80s.

The dial is in excellent condition with clean printing, strong colour, and minimal signs of age. The reverse is stamped “ROLEX 300,” confirming correct fitment for the Cal. 3055 generation.

Perfect for restoration projects or as a replacement for an aged or damaged dial — an ideal piece for collectors looking to maintain authenticity in their build.

Available now at Calibre Club Parts, London.
