More details

There’s something reassuring about a watch that has stayed with its original owner from day one. This 2016 Rolex GMT-Master II 116710BLNR, known as the “Batman,” is exactly that — a complete, well-kept example with every detail still present: both swing tags, bezel protector, immaculate box, warranty card, and all booklets.

The early BLNR has become a modern classic. The blue-black Cerachrom bezel is instantly recognisable, yet the watch never feels loud. It’s one of those pieces that just works — the polished centre links, the crisp black dial, the 3186 movement, and the classic GMT proportions.

This example has been worn carefully and sits in very good condition, exactly as you’d want from a single-owner Rolex that’s been enjoyed but respected. The bracelet retains excellent tension, the case edges remain clean, and the bezel pops with that soft ceramic gloss that defined this first-generation BLNR.

Available for private appointment at the Calibre Club Lounge – Canary Wharf.

Condition

We’d describe this Batman as Very Good on the Calibre Club scale.
The case and bracelet show light, natural wear from careful use, with no signs of harsh polishing. The bezel remains sharp and clean, and the dial and hands are flawless. Mechanically, everything operates as it should.

What really stands out is the completeness of the set — the swing tags, bezel protector, and overall presentation tell you everything about how the watch has been treated. Collectors know how rare it is to find these still together.
