Rolex Day-Date 36mm Champagne Dial – Original Factory (18038, “2 300” Stamp)

A genuine Rolex factory champagne dial for the 36mm Day-Date, correct for the 18038 reference using the Calibre 3055 single quickset movement.

The reverse is stamped “2 300”, indicating a batch-two production dial for the 3055 generation. Rolex used these small prefix numbers during certain late-production runs in the mid–late 1980s, along with the repeating ROLEX pattern you’d expect from this era.

The front has the classic sunburst champagne finish with applied yellow gold baton hour markers and a Roman minute track. The printing remains crisp, the surface is clean, and the dial presents beautifully overall.

A period-correct and authentic upgrade for any 18038 restoration.
