More details

A fantastic example of the iconic Heuer Carrera 30, reference 7753N, dating from the 1970s.

The black dial Carrera 30 is one of the most distinctive variations of the classic Carrera, combining its clean two-register chronograph layout with a deep black dial and contrasting silver sub-registers.

Powered by the manually wound Valjoux 7730 chronograph movement, the 7753N captures the pure, functional character of Heuer's early motorsport watches.

At 36mm, the proportions are classic and wear beautifully on the wrist. The stainless steel case, black dial and understated racing aesthetic make this a particularly appealing piece for collectors of vintage Heuer chronographs.

The watch is presented on a brand-new black leather 18mm strap from Artisan Straps, a specialist Australian maker of handcrafted watch straps.

A genuine 1970s Carrera with exceptional character and timeless Heuer design.

The Carrera

Introduced in 1963 and named after the legendary Carrera Panamericana road race, the Carrera quickly became one of Heuer's defining models.

The Carrera 30 continued the clean, purposeful design of the original Carrera while introducing the Valjoux 7730 movement. The black-dial 7753N is one of the most distinctive references from this period, with its highly legible dial and unmistakable vintage motorsport character.

A superb vintage chronograph with genuine motorsport heritage and one of the most recognisable designs of the Heuer era.
